The evening's distinctive concept presents the same masterpiece from two different musical perspectives. Alongside a classical interpretation, the improvisational language of jazz offers a fresh take on Mozart's music, creating an engaging dialogue between two musical worlds. The concert both pays tribute to the original composition and demonstrates how a masterpiece written more than two centuries ago can continue to inspire new artistic expression.
The Danubia Orchestra is one of Hungary's most exciting and innovative symphony orchestras, dedicated to shaping the future of classical music and engaging new audiences. Alongside its regular concert season, the orchestra develops educational and social initiatives, with a particular focus on introducing younger generations to classical music.
